It is a little sensitive to loud noises, though—since I live in an apartment, it sometimes mistakes hallway doors slamming or my upstairs neighbors stomping for barking when my dog isn’t actually making a sound. One of my favorite features is the nanny mode, which is perfect for a helicopter pet parent like me. I always know what my dog is doing, and as a bonus, it also serves as a handy home security check. It is so much better than I imagined. I really like how it tracks the cats, makes small videos that shows moment I missed. It helps me understand how our cats act during the day when we are not around. Probably one of my best purchases this year. Absolutely recommend it.

Great product to check on the fur‐babies! Motion dection is great. The alerts help us keep our little Mabel safe. She liked to hear our voice. Although, she had figured out (almost immediately) we aren't there so telling her "no" doesn't do much.. Definitely would recommend for new pet owners. I ordered one of these on Prime Day just for kicks and ended up loving it so much I recently bought one at full price for my mom. My husband is always worried about our cats when we go anywhere overnight and my mom had an upcoming anniversary trip (which she was already anxious about, since her kitties would be home alone). This is a perfect solution for keeping tabs on your cats anytime you’re away from home. Setup is straightforward, associate your cat to the robot. Our cats (and my moms) loved the feather toy so much we actually had to take it off the robot for a while- we were worried the cats would pull the robot down off the table 😂. The treat function is awesome and definitely encourages them to come within the camera range. I love getting notifications about motion detection- it’s like a little reminder to check on them. I understand the reviews that are frustrated with the subscription service required to use Furbo, but honestly, I think it’s worth the extra money to know our cats are safe and happy whenever we aren’t home with them. The device is well designed and pleasing to look at, and the plugin negates the need for a battery. Worth it, in my opinion
